The common skin is psoriasis because everyone could be afflicted with it. No matter how old they are, but they usually attack 15 years old people or older than that. PUVA light therapy
PUVA light therapy, or known as Psoralen + Ultraviolet A, is a treatment that is taken for psoriasis or other skin diseases that more severe than before. For a fun fact, the sunlight that we see every day contains 90 of UVA lights. So, PUVA light therapy is more effective than UVB because PUVA can reach deeper skin. For the cost of phototherapy treatment with PUVA, at least $4600 of US dollars annually per patient. Meanwhile, if the treatment is successful, it cost $5700 of US dollars annually per patient. Even though PUVA is more effective, it is not used by a lot of people.
