Use Special Moisturizer

Besides giving medicines, dermatologists will also usually suggest patients to use moisturizers that contain special ingredients. People with eczema are usually recommended to use moisturizer products that contain active ingredients, such as glycerin, alpha hydroxy acid or AHA, petrolatum or petroleum, stearic acid, hyaluronic acid, and natural ingredients like shea butter and olive oil. Those active and natural ingredients are able to keep the skin moisturized and repair damaged skin. So that the skin will not get any drier. There are also moisturizer products that contain anti-inflammation ingredients, such as niacinamide, pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid, grape extract, Vitamin B3, telmesteine, and palmitoylethanolamide combined with hyaluronic acid and shea butter. Use the moisturizer product according to your dermatologist’s instruction or instructions written on the label. Generally, this product is used twice a day on dry and inflamed skin due to eczema.
